Program Structure

The Erasmus EMMBIOME program is designed for a total of 120 ECTS credits, with students spending each semester in a different country.

  • Semester 2: University of Patras, Greece (30 ECTS)

Year 2

  • Semester 3: Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Romania (30 ECTS)
  • Semester 4: Master’s Thesis (at any partner university)

Eligibility Criteria OF Erasmus Mundus EMMBIOME Scholarship

To be eligible for the EMMBIOME Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Nationality: Open to all countries.
  2. Educational Background: A four-year Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields (or related areas):
    • Biomedical Engineering
    • Bioengineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Engineering & Informatics
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Materials Science
    • Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedicine
  3. Final-Year Students: Students in their final year of a Bachelor’s program may apply, provided they submit proof of degree completion before enrollment.
  4. English Proficiency: Applicants who completed their Bachelor’s degree in English do not need to submit an English language test certificate.
