The Government of Morocco, in collaboration with the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), is inviting applications from Saint Lucian students for 20Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2026/2027 academic year. The Moroccan Scholarship covers all academic disciplines offered by public Moroccan universities and vocational institutions. Popular study areas include:

💸 Scholarship Benefits

The Moroccan Government Scholarship provides the following financial support:

• Monthly stipend: 1,750 MAD (approx. USD 175)

• Airfare: One one-way ticket to Morocco (start of studies) and one return ticket (upon completion)

• Health insurance through Finassure

• French language training at the International Language Centre in Rabat

• Housing support: Additional 500 MAD/month if university accommodation is unavailable

⚠️ Note: Tuition fees, meals, local transportation, and academic materials are not covered by the scholarship and must be financed by the student.

🏫 Language of Instruction

• Most courses are taught in French

• French language training is provided for non-French speakers

• Arabic Language, Islamic Studies: Taught in Arabic

✅ Eligibility Criteria

For Bachelor’s (Undergraduate) Applicants:

• Age: 19–23 years

• Academic Qualification: CAPE or Associate Degree (completed in 2024 or graduating in 2025)

• Academic Performance: Minimum Grade A or B

For Master’s Degree Applicants:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Honours

• Must specify chosen programme and university

For PhD Applicants:

• Must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent

• Must submit a research proposal and copy of previous thesis/dissertation

• Certified CAPE or Associate Degree transcripts

• Birth certificate and National ID

• Passport bio-data page

• Police clearance certificate

• Medical certificate from a public health authority

• Completed application form (Apply Online)

Additional for Master’s/PhD Applicants:

• Certified university diplomas

• Official academic transcripts

• Degree syllabus or curriculum

• Research proposal (PhD only)

• On-campus housing is not guaranteed

• Students without university lodging receive an extra 500 MAD/month

• Students can apply to Cité Universitaire Internationale (CUI)

• Private housing requires a formal lease agreement for registration
