To be considered for the UN-Portugal Ocean Fellowship, applicants must:
🌎 Be a citizen of a developing country, particularly from SIDS or LDCs
👨⚖️ Hold a senior decision-making role (e.g., Head/Deputy Head of Ocean Agencies, Maritime Ambassadors, or equivalent)
📜 Have demonstrated experience in ocean policy and governance
🕰️ Be committed to public service for the medium to long term
💬 Be fluent in English (the program is conducted entirely in English)
