Eligibility Criteria of University of Hong Kong Summer Program

To qualify for the HKU Summer Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Open to students of all nationalities.
  • Undergraduate students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
  • Master’s degree candidates (must hold a bachelor’s degree).
  • Demonstrated academic excellence and research potential.

Selection Criteria

The selection process is competitive and based on:

  • Strong interest in research and postgraduate studies.

  • Sophie Germain Scholarship in France

  • Passport-Sized Photograph
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Bachelor’s Transcript and Degree Certificate
  • Master’s Transcript and Degree Certificate (if applicable)
  • English Proficiency Test Results (if applicable)
  • Visa: Non-resident participants must apply for a student visa from the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
