JIAS Writing Fellowship 2025 (Fully Funded to South Africa)
Applications are now open for the prestigious JIAS Writing Fellowship 2025, a fully funded three-month residency program hosted by the Johannesburg Institute for Advanced Study (JIAS) at the University of Johannesburg. The fellowship, set to take place from April 1 to June 30, 2025, offers scholars, creatives, and leaders a unique opportunity to engage deeply with their work in an enriching environment.
The theme for the 2025 program is “Global Blackness”, focusing on the varied experiences, intellectual traditions, and theories related to Blackness across different geographical and cultural contexts. Applications are encouraged from individuals worldwide, and no application fee is required.

Eligibility Criteria
